It’s time for me to downsize my smoke-free, pet-friendly home craft studio collection to something I might have a chance to finish in one or two lifetimes! I’m hoping to find eBaying stitchers out there, ready to sit down with their spinning wheels to 'spin a fine yarn' for an anticipated project, simultaneously keeping hands busy in these difficult times.  What a blessing to be able to turn unexpectedly idle hours into productive ones!
Spinning has been the craft I picked up last, but has turned into my most productive one, channeling zen-filled hours into yarn for my knitting.  But I've got extra materials in this discipline, as in my needle working pursuits, so I'm offering this gorgeous11.2 oz bump of Darkest Teal Blue with Purple undertones tonal
roving (that I found buried deep in my storage room)
for re-sale to another spinning obsessed eBayer!  The color is simply gorgeous, though showing up a bit lighter in the pics I took in natural light than I see in person.  I expect the first pictured color is an accurate representation of the blue of this roving, but with the purple undertone is typical of India Ink, and works into the the dark teal blue at irregular intervals.
My favorite use for this relatively soft type of fiber is in afghans and outer wear - it might be a little harsh against bare skin, particularly for anyone sensitive to wool garments or animal hair. Generally, I knit my spun wool, but I know many weavers who spin for the purpose of making up woven products, and certainly yarn from this roving could easily be crocheted, as well.
