Issued in 1986 by the Singapore Mint to Commemorate that year's passing of Halley's Comet. Singapore was one of the prime locations on earth to view Halley's Comet that year, so it is quite logical that Singapore Mint would issue this special commemorative. Only 1,000 of these special 5 ounce coins were issued so they are quite scarce today. Struck in beautiful Proof Quality of five ounces of .999 pure silver.
