    * Knotty Forest Yarn's domestic Churro Wool is prepared for you as a Roving.

    a great benefit as Churro, being a very primitive sheep breed, can range form 20-40 microns in
    just
    one fleece! My roving blends fleeces to have that
    micron
    average right about in the middle.
    * NO DYES! ~ Natural, unbleached, undyed cream color, Incredibly CLEAN and about 90% VM free!
    * 100% Bred, Raised, Shorn a
    nd Processed rights there at home in the USA!
    Churro is not known for its next to skin softness, but it has long been prized by the Navajo tribe, who breed Churro sheep, for its strength and durability for making rugs and other items which would see regular use.
    I used to offer this amazing wool in a loose form for the a most authentic spinning experience, but prepared as a roving, one can still enjoy the experience of a primitive breed of American sheep's wool, but also produce a more consistent product.
    I find this Churro so easy to draft that I was able to make a very even and consistent yarn just by rolling it on my thigh... Wheel spinning is even easier! Takes dye like a pro too.
