This listing features aLimited Edition Miss America Bear 2000 1st Edition
9" tall in velveteen crimson red,
new with original tags.
Purchased from the
Miss America pageant franchise dealer,
from the competition held at
the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey
on Saturday, September 18, 1999, on ABC Network.
Heather French became the first Miss Kentucky to win the crown that evening.
For the first time, the pageant was held in October rather than September.
Heather, Miss America 2000, became the first Miss America to win The Miss America Organization’s “Woman of Achievement” award for her outstanding contributions to our nation’s homeless veterans
The bear was manufactured for the Miss America Organization,
and bears the silver embroidered crown on its chest.
White paws and foot pads on a crimson velveteen body.
Black plastic button eyes and a stitched black nose and mouth.
Original hangtag on right ear reads:
"The Miss America Bear 2000" with the registered silver crown silhouette
and inside, left,

Back of the tag has printed swing tag warning for children under 3.
