Antique Victorian Metal Clasp Cape Cloak Shawl Scarf Woman Queen Angel Wings 4"

Description

Extremely rare 2-piece Victorian Clasp for Cape, Cloak, Shawl or Scarf has a beautiful woman's head with crown and flowing hair, surrounded by ornate wings. The clasp comes together with a large flat hook behind the woman's head and attaches to fabric with a wire on either side of the clasp. Normally would be sewn to the material, but shown with lace fabric just pulled through wires - would work well with a scarf or light shawl. Measures 4" wide and a little over 2" high. Metal could be silver plate over brass - brass shows through from rubbing on forward parts of head and on clasp hook in back. Has not been polished to preserve antique patina. Will be shipped priority mail and insured.
