The Aspen is our own original design.  It is unique and one of a kind.  This is a handmade knitted girl's/woman's bulky cowl that converts into a shawl.  Designed to address several issues, the Aspen is not only the latest fashion statement of bulky cowl but this item converts into a shawl that can be worn multiple ways indoors as well.  Use a shawl pin to create a dramatic drape or just flip it and allow it to hang in place over your shoulders.  When bad weather hits, this item, worn either way engulfs you in soft, luxurious warmth.  The fiber used is light-weight so it will not over-heat you.  The bulky cowl can be worn both indoors and outdoors; all day long.  Use it to prevent cold and drafts from hitting your neck from office vents or convert it to a shawl to give you just a little added warmth if the home or event you are attending is just a little too chilly for your comfort.
The Aspen is available in a multitude of colors.  The fiber used for this item is a very soft in texture acrylic which can be machine washed and dried.  (We recommend machine washing using a mesh lingerie/delicates bag or alternatively, hand washing and air-drying.)  The Aspen is very soft and very lovely against the skin (non-abrasive.)  Any girl/woman would love to receive this item as a gift or you could buy it for yourself!  This is a really fashionable, fun, and functional item.
