Awesome Vintage Men's 40's/50's Gabardine Jacket! Must see!

In the late 80's and early 90's in San Francisco I got drawn into the vintage clothing thing- I wore all 40's gabardines, horsehide jackets and went to swing clubs like the Deluxe and Bimbos. I worked hard to put together a good collection which i am starting to sell off now. All these pieces are XL with good length sleeves. They all ft me around the same time in my life so if you check out my other auctions you might find more that might fit you. They're all in pretty darn clean shape for the most part.
This is a 40's Gabardine Jacket in deep purplish blue with herringbone panels and an amazing lining. No label. There is some light color fading on arms and shoulders as is so often the case with these. 2 slash pockets. Padded shoulders. Zipper is great. Measures 20" shoulder seam to seam/23" pit to pit/25" sleeve length/27" total length in back.  There is a repair on the back of the collar (see pic). Edges of the cuffs show some fraying. Waist band elastic tired and a couple of fabric frays along waist.  In other words-really great wearable condition! Lining is super clean rayon. See pics  Enjoy!
