Up for bid is a beautiful handmade shawl. It has a lovely shell pattern throughout. At first glance this looks brown- however, it has a sparkle thread in it that gives it an olive green hue. I guess I would have to call it used, altho I am willing to bet my aunt made this for my mom and she never wore it. So it is in very good condition. It has been in mom's cedar chest so you can smell the cedar. I don't know how old it is- I found it when I was cleaning out moma's treasures. It measures approx 66 x 32" not counting the fringe. Made from a very soft yarn. Sold as is. I will be listing more of her vintage treasures so keep your eyes peeled and check my store for other moma's treasures!

I do offer combined shipping to help you cut down on the costs if you buy multiple items at one time. Let's be clear, no one likes to pay shipping but it is a neccessary evil. Your shipping costs are not just the price of a stamp or postage. Your shipping costs include the cost of boxes, envelopes, tape, ink, labels... I try very hard to keep shipping costs low. If you were buying off ebay with a large seller, you would be paying a shipping and handling charge that far exceeds my shipping rates!
If you are intending to buy more than one item to combine shipping, please drop me a line and let me know so I am not left wondering why you are not paying. If enough time passes with no word from you, when ebay prompts me to open an unpaid item case, I will do so. I'm sorry to say I have been "stiffed" alot lately so please communicate with me so I know what you are doing. I have no problem waiting while you shop if I understand what you are doing.
I ship patterns in a protective sleeve and large flat envelope to insure your patterns reach you in good condition. They are shipped First Class Mail Parcel so that I can provide tracking on them. (Unless I have no funds on paypal and have to take them to the post office.) However, many of you think the cost of shipping this way is too high. If you don't care that your patterns are folded and mailed out in a regular envelope, then contact me prior to paying and I will reduce the cost and ship in this manner. I am upset at getting less than 5 stars because I try to ship your patterns in a nice condition!
I have had a negitive expirience with a customer on my shipping. As many repeat buyers know, I take pride in fast shipping. But things have changed in my life and you can read about this in my about me page. So, I still strive to get your packages out in a timely fashion, but with work and other things, sometimes it could be the weekend before I get time to do shipping.
