Like a good many creative folk, I tend to go a little overboard in gathering my toys around me! As a person devoted to needle-crafting, the last of my acquired hobbies was spinning - goes so well into knitting, one of my earliest avocations! Intent on having what I needed for all the projects I envisioned, I went a little wild on purchasing hand-dyed fiber for spinning.

A Failure To Communicate
- it's a recurring theme in a Tennessee Williams play, as well as a constant theme between genders and generations! The colorway reminds me of fireworks, as often do communications breakdowns! On the other hand, this is a really soft roving, so I'm expecting a happy ending to the communications issues!
I actually am listing two separate auctions of this roving from Retold Yarns - some folks need more fiber for larger projects, so it made sense to list both in the same week. Indeed, communications difficulties seem to be a theme in my listings this week - there is another similarly sized roving in my listings, named " Listen, Dammit" which has slightly different colors, but still on the neon side of bright!
Clearly, it's time for me to downsize my smoke-free, pet-friendly home craft studio collection to something I might have a chance to finish in one or two lifetimes! I’m hoping to find eBaying fiber enthusiasts out there, ready to sit down with their spinning wheels to 'spin a fine yarn' for an anticipated project, simultaneously keeping hands busy in these times when we are “safer at home”.  What a blessing to be able to turn our unexpectedly idle hours into productive ones!
