Navajo
Churro wool is blended with Scottish Blackface Sheep's wool, both being primitive sheep breeds, that can range from 20-40 microns in
just
one fleece! My roving blends these fleeces to have that
micron
average right about in the middle.
* NO DYES! ~ Natural, unbleached, undyed gray color, VERY CLEAN and about 90% VM free, but does have
some
guard hairs
!

Neither of these breeds, the Navajo Churro, nor the Scottish Blackface, are not known for their next to skin softness, but they has long been prized by the Scotts and Navajo tribe for their strength and durability for making rugs, outerwear, and other items which would see regular use.
Prepared as a roving, one can still enjoy the experience of a primitive breed sheep's wool in a more consistent product.
I find this roving easy to draft that I was able to make a very even and consistent yarn just by rolling it on my thigh... Spindle or Wheel spinning is even easier! Takes dye like a pro and felts very well too.
