Description
This is a beautiful highly collectible AUTHENTIC Vintage reversible Sukujan Souvenir bomber jacket Circa 1950.It is is PRISTINE condition as it was never worn! I know this for a fact because I inherited it from my Grandmother. It was gifted to her by her late brother who was a US Soldier in the Korean War in 1950. He brought it back to her as a gift once the war was over where it then sat in a garment bag in one of her closets for 71 years never worn.
I have decided to part with this amazing piece because as beautiful as it is, I’m never going to wear it, so I would much rather have it go to a good home or to someone’s vintage collection where it will be cherished and shown off!
The reversible jacket features one side in bright blue and cream satin with Tigers embroidered on both front and back, with stitching throughout to give it a quilted look. The reversible side features black and cream colored satin (no quilting), embroidered birds on the front and an embroidered geisha and mountain scene on the back.
There are no rips, stains, or holes in the jacket. The front has its original metal double sided zipper with the word “speed” on the zipper pull tags. The zipper works totally fine when the blue tiger side is being worn, however I’m having difficulty getting it to zip closed when the black & cream side is worn. The striped knit collar, wrists, and waist elastic is all in excellent condition. Came from a smoke free home. It’s truly in incredible condition for its age.
The jacket runs approximately a modern day size Medium-Large for a Woman or approximately size Small-Medium for a man. Please refer to my sizing below as I do not accept returns.
Feel free to message me with any other questions you may have. I ship within 24 hours of payment received with USPS Priority Mail.
Thank you!
