Vintage 1970s wool/leather Villanova Prep Letterman jacket w/athletic pins, 42

Description

Vintage early 1970s Villanova Prep School Letterman jacket complete with athletic award pins and California Boys State 1974 pin. This wool felt and leather jacket is in excellent vintage condition. There are no moth holes and no major flaws. The rib knit cuffs, neck and waist are complete with no holes and the elastic in them is tight. The leather arms are supple. The inner satin lining has been repaired at each of the waist pocket areas, visible in the photos. Also, the neck area lining shows wear holes at the neck seam. The jacket was made by Whiting of Los Angeles and is a men's size 42.
The “letter” - big V over a small L and C stands for “Villanova Letterman's Club”. The pins on the letter are:
Varsity Football
Varsity Baseball, plus two additional year bars
California Boy's State 1974
