Vintage Edwardian Style Men's Linen Travel Motoring Driving Duster Coat
This vintage antique Edwardian style men's linen travel motoring driving duster coat dates from 1910. It is made of a natural ecru color quality linen fabric, with mismatched mother of pearl buttons. This classic men's long loose fitting floor length duster motoring coat has a fold over collar, long full sleeves, large deep patch pockets, mother of pearl button closures down the front, is unlined and has a "Jan's Vintage Accessories" label Size Medium tag sewn inside. The coat measures 49 inches long, with a 46 inch chest, 50 inch waist, 50 inch hips, 24 inch long sleeves and a 17 inch back. This coat might be a very well made reproduction and would have been worn to protect ones clothing from the dust and mud when traveling, riding and driving in a motor car. It is in good condition, has not been cleaned with a few faint small stains scattered which are difficult to see. This is truly a wonderful piece of early motoring horseless carriage wearable art!
